Evidence-Based Therapy for Couples and Individuals

Let's be real, relationships are hard. It is easy to get stuck in cycles of conflict, avoidance, disconnect, and distance. When we get stuck in these negative cycles, it almost feels hopeless, like there is no way to repair the hurt, to feel understood by your partner, and find joy in the relationship again.
Additionally, having past traumas can hinder our ability to communicate effectively with our partner, put our walls down to fully connect with them, and manage our reactivity to triggers.
Therapy provides a safe space to work through these various challenges to enhance your relationship with yourself, and your partner. With the right tools and guidance, you can find joy again and get your relationship back on track.
The Gottman Method: A highly practiced, research-based approach to therapy that is designed to help couples move from conflict to connection. It is rooted in over 40 years of research and focuses on building a strong foundation for couples by strengthening 3 key areas: friendship, conflict management, and shared meaning. Clients are given tools inside, and outside of session to ensure treatment is hands on at all times.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): A structured, evidence-based approach to healing from trauma and PTSD. In CPT, we work together to understand how your trauma has impacted your thoughts and emotions, identify beliefs that are keeping you stuck, learn new and healthier ways to relate to your experiences, and reduce unwanted symptoms like anxiety, avoidance, and emotional numbness.
